Gone Banana's in Kaula Lumpur ~ Fruit Feasting with Maria
On my recent trip to Kaula Lumpur, Malaysia attending the 1st Malaysian International Conference on Holistic Healing for Cancer, I had the opportunity to visit some awesome fruit and vegie markets. This was my first visit to Malaysia so I was not familiar with the types of fresh fruit / vegies I would be able to access but was certainly VERY willing to try fruits I had not had the opportunity to try before.
I decided that travel to another country was not going to create a problem for me with regard to continuing to access the best quality foods for my body – I want EXCELLENT health so my body DESERVES THE BEST. I shared with my hosts my chosen eating approach (a high fresh fruit and vegetable intake) and they were only too happy to assist me to access what I needed.
The night market was AMAZING with loads of fruits to try (Mangosteens, Rambutans, Thai Mangoes) and many other delicious tastes as well from Jack Fruit, Dragon Fruit, HUGE Lychees, the sweeeeetest pineapples...so many awesome choices. I even found some varieties of Banana that I have never seen before (not sure what variety they were), but at 3 kilos for just one Aussie dollar…I couldn’t pass them up.
There was fruit available to purchase just about everywhere throughout my stay and it made my decision to forgo the cooked hotel breakfasts and proliferation of fast food outlets (that seem to be all over this planet!) such a difficult one…NOT! I would not even ask my body to the waste time or energy attempting to digest that type of food these days. Fresh, raw food gives the body SO much more…in so many ways. I reckon, if you want more (from your body, from your day, from life, then…EAT RAW!
This won’t be my last visit to Malaysia as I will be returning in around 7 months to share more of my knowledge and my skill of Live and Dry Blood Analysis with allopathic trained medical doctors (who also embrace holistic health principles) at their amazing clinics. Life truly is AWESOME!
